How to replace the Throttle Body Assembly (LP1, LY7) on 2010 Cadillac STS?

To remove the Throttle Body Assembly (LP1[systems/LP1], LY7) first turn the ignition OFF and remove the air cleaner intake duct. Be careful when disconnecting connectors to prevent vehicle damage. Then remove the throttle body electrical connector, loosen the wiring harness conduit and transfer it out of the way, and lastly remove the throttle body bolts. Carefully remove the throttle body together with the gasket. For installation clean the mounting surfaces on throttle body removing all the gasket or seal material install the throttle body using a NEW gasket. Secure the throttle body bolts up to 10 Nm (89 lb in) and reinstall the wiring harness conduit and reconnect the throttle body electrical connector. Lastly, install the air cleaner intake duct and run the throttle learn procedure using the scan tool to clear all DTCs.
