  A: To remove (replace the upper Intake Manifold LP1, LY7), you will need to rotate the ignition off and remove the sight shield of the fuel injector, as well as the air inlet duct. Detach the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose, purge solenoid valve electrical connector and purge line from purge solenoid valve. The next step is to remove the wiring harness retainer and the Throttle Body electrical connector. Next, remove the upper Intake Manifold brace, the stud and bolt to which it's attached, and the brace itself, then disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from right bank of camshaft cover, the barometric pressure sensor electrical connector, and the Intake Manifold runner control solenoid electrical connector. Unscrew the injector harness bracket bolt and the left bank ignition coil wiring harness and pull them off the bracket and then remove the upper Intake Manifold bolts in going for some deflection of the cowl panel may be required to remove the right rear bolt. Remove the upper Intake Manifold with the Throttle Body and in the case of changing, dismantle the Intake Manifold, clean and inspect it. Install the upper Intake Manifold brace, stud, and bolt, and tighten the brace bolt to 65 nm (48 lb ft) and the brace stud to 10 nm (89 lb in). Make sure the wiring harness connector is correctly engaged and then connect the electrical connector to the Throttle Body, wire harness retainer and connect the purge line to purge solenoid valve and the purge solenoid valve electrical connection. Finally, install the air inlet duct, replace the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose to the Intake Manifold, and reinstall the fuel injector sight shield.
