Start by turning OFF the ignition and extracting the air cleaner intake duct prior to replacing the Throttle Body Assembly (LP1, LY7) (3.6L). Disengage connectors with special care to prevent vehicle damage. The next step includes disconnecting the throttle body electrical connector followed by unlocking and repositioning the wiring harness conduit. Finally remove the throttle body bolts. Extract the throttle body from its mount with the gasket present. First clean the throttle body mounting surfaces free of gasket and seal material before installing the throttle body with a fresh gasket.
