How to replace the Throttle Body Assembly (LP1, LY7) on 2008 Cadillac STS?

To change the Throttle Body Assembly (LP1, LY7), turn the ignition OFF and remove the duct for the air cleaner intake. Then, disconnect the throttle body electrical connector, unlock and relocate the wiring harness conduit, and remove the throttle body bolts. Carefully remove the throttle body with the adhesive gasket as well. Clean the throttle body mounting surfaces in order to remove any gasket or seal materials prior to installing throttle body and a NEW gasket. Tighten the throttle body bolts 10 N.m (89 lb in) and re-install the wiring harness conduit and throttle body electrical connector. Finally, reinstall the air cleaner intake duct, go through the throttle learn exercise, and employ a scan tool to erase all DTCs.
