How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

You must disconnect the negative battery terminal to replace the Windshield Wiper and washer switch. Use the steering wheel to uncover 3 and 4 screws before taking out screws 3 and 4 at the upper steering column cover panel. The upper and lower steering column panels need to be removed for this job. Press the tabs closing parts 1 and 3 of the switch housing to remove the wiper unit. Disconnect the electrical cable connection from the Wiper Switch by pushing it away. Connect your electrical power connector to the Wiper Switch before placing it within the switch housing and confirming that both tabs (1, 3) line up accurately. Replace both upper and lower steering column cover panels. Insert the lower steering column cover panel screws into positions (6, 7, 8) and tighten them to 3 nm torque. Twist the steering wheel until you can see both holes in the upper steering column cover panel. Insert and tighten screws (3, 4) at these points to 3nm. End the process by connecting the battery's black terminal.
