Start by disconnecting the negative
Battery Cable before replacing the windshield washer switch. Free the lower steering column cover panel by removing screws 6, 7, and 8 then taking away the panel. You need to rotate the steering wheel to reach the upper steering column cover panel screws (3, 4). After unscrewing them you can remove that panel. Press down both tabs (1 and 3) on the Wiper Switch to unclip it from its mount. After that disconnect the electrical connector which links to the Wiper Switch. You can install the electrical connector to the new Wiper Switch and position it into the switch housing when you fit the components properly. Insert and tighten lower steering column cover panel screws (6, 7, 8) at 3 n.m (27 lb ft). Install the top steering column cover by fixing in place screws (3, 4) while tightening them to 3 n.m (27 lb ft). Complete the job by attaching the Battery Cable to its proper connection.
