  A: Turn off the engine before you proceed with replacing the Brake Master Cylinder. Press and release the Brake Pedal several times for the power vacuum Brake Booster vacuum reserve to empty. When performing this task you should detach the clutch master cylinder hose supply if available while disconnecting the brake fluid level indicator switch's electrical connection. First disconnect the drain fitting on the brake pipe and cover this point. Then install plugs on both the brake pipe and the master cylinder to block fluid blood and contaminants. Perform this step again for the master cylinder connection to the primary brake pipe. Detach the master cylinder nuts then pull the master cylinder unit out of the power vacuum Brake Booster before removing the master cylinder o-ring seal and examining it for damage.
