How to replace the Back Up Light Switch on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt?

The process to replace the back up lamp switch begins by removing both the left front wheel. The installer disconnects the back up lamp connector before removing the back up lamp switch assembly. Install the new switch by using only a socket to protect the switch assembly and apply specified pipe sealant. First tighten the switch at 33 Nm (24 lb ft) then reconnect the back up lamp connector and reinstall the left front wheel.
