2010 Chevrolet Cobalt Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the battery sensor on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt?
A: Before you replace the battery current sensor, take off the negative Battery Cable from the battery to battery tray and from the engine to chassis. After that, take off the tape attaching the sensor to the negative cable and bend the eyelet to take out the sensor without disturbing the alignment tab. Install the sensor by putting the ground end of the negative Battery Cable through it, making sure it goes in the right way. Put electrical tape on the sensor to keep it in place, and mold the cable eyelet back into its original position. Now, you should attach the negative Battery Cable to the battery to battery tray and to the engine to chassis.
