Chevrolet Cobalt Battery Sensor Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to Properly Install a Battery Sensor on Chevrolet Cobalt?
A: Start by unplugging the battery current sensor electrical connector and disconnecting the battery negative cable from your vehicle. You need to eliminate both the tape holding the battery current sensor and remove the sensor from its position on the negative Battery Cable. You should insert the ground end of the negative Battery Cable into the battery current sensor opening and push the sensor towards its connection to the battery to wrap around all ground wires. Widen electrical tape around the battery current sensor to mount it on the negative Battery Cable. Also install the sensor in the right direction while ensuring all grounding wires to the battery negative post must come through it. Reinstall the Battery Cable cable into the car and then attach the battery current sensor electrical wiring.
