How to replace the battery sensor on 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt?

To remove battery current sensor, first, remove the negative Battery Cable from battery to battery tray. Next, remove the tape that fastens the battery current sensor to the negative Battery Cable and then remove the battery current sensor from the cable itself. For installation, slide the ground end of the negative Battery Cable through the battery current sensor making sure it has the right orientation and placement on the cable. Install and tape the battery current sensor to the negative Battery Cable and then, finally, reinstall the negative battery into the battery to battery tray.
