  A: The Fuel Level Sensor replacement process for the right side requires removing the module from the Fuel Tank as the first step. Touching the level sender on the resistor card must be avoided in order to protect it from exposure to oils. Slightly pressure the connector position assurance (CPA) using your thumb as you push the connector downwards to uncouple the electrical connection from the module. You must first remove the wires from the electrical connector followed by inserting the lock tab above the level sender body while pulling it out from the slot. The wires must enter the slot of the level sender body before extracting the body from the module. To install place the new level sender assembly into the slot while smoothly descending until the lock tab finds its position. After directing wires up to the electrical connector next to the regulator ground wire users must place level sender wires into open slots of the electrical connector and establish connection with the flange. Put the module back into the tank and check its empty stop resistance while the tank is upright. Afterwards rotate the tank to test the full stop measurement. The tank must return to vertical alignment for evaluation of empty stop resistance before testing whether the level sender can operate normally within the tank while avoiding its internal lines.
