2010 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: Start replacement by taking off the top and bottom trim covers from the Steering Column. First disconnect the wire harness straps from both ends of the Steering Column tilt head assembly and column. Then pull out the wire harness assembly from the wire harness strap. Remove the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly by turning off its 2 pan head tapping screws. Before fixing the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly to the Steering Column assembly place the electrical contact section on top of the turn signal cancel cam. Secure the 2 pan head screws using 7 nm torque (62 lb in torque). Thread the wire harness to run through the column jacket assembly, put it in the wire harness strap, then fix new wire harness straps at the end of the Steering Column unit and the column. Put back the upper and lower covers that fit over the Steering Column.
