How to replace the rear lift window panel Weather Strip on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

To remove the rear lift window panel weather strip, then remove the rear compartment lift window panel and place in on a clean flat protective surface. Then, pull the weather strip out from the panel and remove old weather strip retaining springclip should new clips be installed. Clean the surface of the panel to clear it of any remnants of the old weather strip. For installation, they bolt a spring clip on either side of the lift window panel, and make sure the lower lip of the clip mates with the top lip of the auxiliary seal. Apply a thin constant bead of weather strip sealant inside the forward lip of the lid, followed by a thin bead itexts the lower side of the lip for approximately 400 mm (16 in) from the corners. Position the weather strip on the panel with its curved surface facing up but work on it with the lines facing the centerline. Position the little notch close to the end of the weather strip over the edge of the lift window panel and push the flange of the weather strip into the spring clip. Finally fit the rest of the weather strip and reposition the lift window panel.
