Begin by removing the evaporator outlet hose retaining nuts (4, 5) and the retaining nut from the evaporator inlet tube. After this extract the evaporator inlet tube for later use. First detach the fourteen screws and sealing washers from the evaporator and blower module assembly case before moving the accumulator into position. First access the actuator mounting by removing the evaporator case front cover assembly and opening the recirculation door seal with proper hand positioning. You need to first slide back the actuator mounting tab before rotating the actuator 90° clockwise (rearward) to release the door linkage and removing the actuator's vacuum line for further actuator removal.
