    Q:
How to replace the Auxiliary Blend Door Actuator on Chevrolet Express 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The left rear quarter trim panel must be removed to replace the Auxiliary Temperature Valve Actuator. Start by disconnecting the electrical connector from the air temperature actuator before removing its retaining screws to take out the actuator. Begin by using the new actuator for the air temperature installation and follow all instructions in the Fastener Notice. Firmly attach the actuator to its place using retaining screws which need to be tightened to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). Once all steps are complete you should reconnect the air temperature electrical connector to the actuator followed by reinstalling the left rear quarter trim panel.

    Q:
How to replace the Air Inlet Blend Door Actuator on GMC Savana 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting the air inlet valve actuator replacement process requires users to remove the battery first. Remove refrigerant from the a/c system before disconnecting electrical connectors for the low pressure sensor and both the Blower Motor and Blower Motor Resistor assembly. Begin by removing the evaporator outlet hose retaining nuts (4, 5) and the retaining nut from the evaporator inlet tube. After this extract the evaporator inlet tube for later use. First detach the fourteen screws and sealing washers from the evaporator and blower module assembly case before moving the accumulator into position. First access the actuator mounting by removing the evaporator case front cover assembly and opening the recirculation door seal with proper hand positioning. You need to first slide back the actuator mounting tab before rotating the actuator 90° clockwise (rearward) to release the door linkage and removing the actuator's vacuum line for further actuator removal. To install the recirculation door actuator put the device onto the linkage and set it in the attachment point but connect the vacuum tubing and check that the recirculation door works well and forms a proper seal. Mount the accumulator before installing the evaporator and blower module assembly cover onto the evaporator case with fourteen screws applying 1.9 nm (17 lb in) of torque. Secure the evaporator inlet tube to the evaporator body by tightening a retaining nut to a torque of 16 nm (12 lb ft) while using new sealing washers on both tubes. Secure the evaporator outlet hose by tightening its retaining nuts (4, 5) to 18 nm (13 lb ft) before reconnecting all electrical connectors to the low pressure sensor, blower motor, and Blower Motor Resistor assembly. The a/c system evacuation follows by recharging before performing a fitted leak check with a j 39400-a tool before battery replacement completes the process.
