A: To replace the engine coolant crossover pipe (LZE (LZ4, LGD), the first step is to disconnect the intake manifold cover, generator, drive belt idler pulleys and the Power Steering Pump. Relocate the coolant recovery reservoir hose clamp at the fill tube fitting and the coolant recovery reservoir hose is removed to a point out of the way. Subsequently, remove the t piece hose from incoming hot and outgoing cold water lines of the expansion tank. Next, take away the delete metal clamp of the hose to the inlet of the heater and then blow out the air that is present in that hose. Unscrew the bolts (2, 3, 4) for coolant crossover pipes and remove the coolant crossover pipe. To install, install the new coolant crossover pipe to the cylinder heads while making sure to tighten the bolts to 50 nm (37 lb ft). Mount the thermal bypass hose and its clamp, the radiator inlet hose and its clamp are to follow. Reattach the coolant recovery reservoir hose along with its clamp, and then mount the Power Steering Pump, drive belt idler pulleys, generator and finally the intake manifold cover.
