The ge-47827 (Socket) allows users to rotate the Fan Motor drive plate counter to the blade arrow until the fan disengages before removal and disposal of the blade. Apply tape over every accessible opening of the cooling Fan Motor to keep foreign matter out. Greenhill 2 drills each Fan Motor rivet 6.35 mm (0.25 in) before using a tap tool to extract the rivets while cleaning off remaining debris. Remove the Fan Motor from the Fan Shroud after the process. You should insert the bolts through the front side of the Fan Shroud first before tightening the cooling Fan Motor nuts to 6 nm (53 lb in). Heat the new Fan Blade hub in hot tap water maintained at 49°c (120°F) for one minute before fitting it to the motor drive plate while keeping the blade steady to stop the rotation. The ge-47827 (Socket) tool enables turning the Fan Motor drive plate while following the blade arrow direction until full connection then use the tool to rotate the blade for correct movement.
