  • Q: How to replace the Auxiliary Engine Oil Cooler on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?
    A: To replace an auxiliary Engine Oil Cooler, remove the upper air baffle along with the right engine splash shield plus to a lower air baffle. Next, remove the support clip from the Engine Oil Cooler lines, move the hose clamps from the Engine Oil Cooler lines, and remove the power steering Oil Cooler lines from the Power Steering Cooler cc. Then, remove from the Engine Oil Cooler lines and Engine Oil Cooler. Loose the upper bolt and the lower bolts from the Engine Oil Cooler/Power Steering Cooler and pull the Engine Oil Cooler/Power Steering Cooler out of the vehicle. For installation, place back the Engine Oil Cooler/Power Steering Cooler to the vehicle, install the upper bolt and lower bolts to the bracket, and tighten to 2 nm (18 lb in). Reconnect the Engine Oil Cooler lines & power steering Oil Cooler lines, put back the hose clamps and install the support clip to the Engine Oil Cooler lines. Re-attach the right engine splash shield and the lower and upper air baffle. Finally, fill with the right amount of engine oil and power steering fluid and to bleed power steering system.
