The first step involves loosening each valve lifter guide bolt followed by removing both valve lifter guides and valve lifters from their guides. The entire gasket surface needs degreaser cleaning. You need to treat the valve lifters with prelube before positioning them into their intended cylinder bore locations. The threads of valve lifter guide bolts require thread lock application before you install the valve lifter guides. Screw the valve lifter guide bolts to 10 nm using a torque wrench. The valve rocker arms and pushrods should go back into place and then the lower Intake Manifold should be reinstalled.
