    A: Replacement of Steering Angle Sensor and steering shaft lower bearing begins by removing the Steering Column. Start with dismantling the intermediate steering shaft boot followed by the steering shaft lower seal and the steering shaft lower bearing seal retainer and the steering shaft upper seal from the steering shaft. First remove the Steering Angle Sensor then extract the steering shaft lower bearing from the steering jacket assembly. Start installation by placing the steering shaft lower bearing inside the steering jacket assembly. Begin sensor installation of the Steering Angle Sensor before adding the steering shaft upper seal followed by the steering shaft lower bearing seal retainer and steering shaft lower seal and intermediate steering shaft boot to the steering shaft. Reinsert the Steering Column back into the vehicle.
