How to replace the Battery Cable from the Control Module to the Auxiliary BEC on 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

Before starting the replacement of the battery positive cable which links between control module and auxiliary bec you must disable the high voltage system. First unfasten the positive Battery Cable lead from the mega fuse stud before taking off the positive Battery Cable nut from the mega fuse stud followed by removing the auxiliary bussed electrical center cover . The maintenance sequence starts with engine shield removal before you detached the positive Battery Cable clips which are numbered 2, 3, and 4 from the frame crossmember. People need to remove battery clips through the wheel area starting by taking the brake pipe clip and the air cleaner adapter bracket clip . You must first lower the car but keep the air filter out. Continue by removing the positive cable connector that holds the air cleaner to the support bracket and the clip from the fender inner panel. Unplug the positive Battery Cable electrical connector from the drive motor generator control module then detach the Battery Cable from its vehicle position. Begin the installation by placing the positive Battery Cable onto the vehicle before connecting its positive Battery Cable electrical connector to the drive motor generator control module. Reassemble all operations by installing the positive Battery Cable clip first to the fender inner panel followed by the clip on the air cleaner support bracket before putting back the air cleaner assembly. Follow these steps to correctly install the positive Battery Cable clips through the wheel opening while placing item at the air cleaner adapter bracket and item at the brake pipe. The installer must first lift the vehicle fully before installation of the positive Battery Cable clips (2,3,and 4) to the frame crossmember and finally securing the engine shield. Proceed by lowering the vehicle before connecting the positive Battery Cable lead to the mega fuse stud. After attaching the positive Battery Cable nut to the same spot, tighten it to 9 nm (80 lb in). The high voltage system becomes operational after the installation of the auxiliary bec cover.
