How to replace the right side engine mount on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500?

The first step for right side Engine Mount replacement requires removal of Engine Mount to Engine Mount Bracket bolts located under the hood. Rise the vehicle while supporting it properly. Remove the bolts securing the oil pan skid plate and the plate from the vehicle yet avoid using jacks or other metal components around the oil pan to prevent damages to crucial engine components. An adjustable jack should be set on the square tab at the engine block rear to lift the engine after removing the Starter. The sequence calls for the removal of Engine Mount bolts followed by the Engine Mount itself. In case of requirement you should also take out Engine Mount side bracket bolts along with bracket. Run the following process before mounting the engine side bracket to the motor: eliminate all remnants of the old adhesive spot then degrease bolt screws using denatured alcohol and treat them with threadlocker gm p/n 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489). Insert the Engine Mount side bracket bolts before fastening them to 50 nm (37 lb ft) torque and afterwards secure the Engine Mount with its mounting bolts set to 50 nm (37 lb ft). Position the engine to its normal height afterwards returning the Starter. After assembling the oil pan skid plate with its mounting bolts at 20 nm (15 lb ft) torque, lower the vehicle so you can install the Engine Mount to Engine Mount Bracket bolts at 65 nm (48 lb ft).
