How to replace the left side engine mount bracket on GMC Sierra 1500?

After separating the left side engine mount bracket from the engine mount (1500 LY2) and its bolts you can detach the bracket. You should put the new engine mount bracket onto the frame before inspecting that all original adhesive residue is completely gone. Denatured alcohol alongside an equivalent substance should treat the bolts' threads before they dry completely. Lubricate the bolts with GM threadlock P/N 12345382 (and Canadian P/N 10953489 equivalent) while observing the fastener precautions to safeguard the vehicle body. Fasten the engine mount bracket bolts with 65 Nm (48 lb ft) torque. Finally, install the engine mount (1500 LY2).
