How to replace the left side engine mount bracket on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
As a first step for replacing the left side Engine Mount Bracket start by removing the required engine mounts according to the specified configurations (1500 w/RPO LY2), (1500 except RPOs LY2 and LY6), and (2500 w/RPO LY6). Engine Mount Bracket bolts need removal before you can take off the Engine Mount Bracket. To mount the bracket align it with the frame while fully removing previously applied adhesive patches. Natural alcohol or a suitable alternative must clean the bolt threads before allowing them to become completely dry. Threadlock gm p/n 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) is recommended for application to the bolts or an equivalent product. Secure the Engine Mount Bracket bolts at 65 nm torque (48 lb ft) tension. The installation of the Engine Mount for specified configurations requires the new mount to be reinstalled.
