How to replace the starter motor on 2010 GMC Yukon?

Disconnect the negative battery wire and lift the vehicle off the ground. If equipped with a skid plate at the oil pan, then remove the skid plate, transmission cover bolt and starter bolts. Remove the engine wiring harness and support the starter. Remove the starter by opening the wheel well. Installing - Reverse the above steps and reconnect the battery.
