How to replace the intermediate steering column seal on Buick Century?

First collapse the shaft by pushing it down before removing the intermediate shaft seal bolts and extracting the complete seal from the steering gear. Begin by placing the intermediate shaft lower seal onto the steering gear after which install the intermediate shaft upper seal over the lower one until it reaches the instrument panel. Next connect the intermediate shaft to the Steering Column and then add the intermediate shaft seal at the Steering Column end.
