Buick LaCrosse A/C Condenser is one of the many reliable and performing products in the car market. The A/C condenser plays the role of a heat exchanger where gaseous refrigerant is cooled to almost liquid form before getting to the accumulator to maintain climate control inside an automobile. Located in front of the radiator the A/C Condenser has a tubular network to boost the cool air supply in different versions of Buick LaCrosse. This component is compatible with first and second generation: LaCrosse cars has undergone changes since its release in 2004 proving that Buick is company that embraces change and superiority. The LaCrosse A/C Condenser also has its part in contributing to the general efficiency and safety of the vehicle no matter the climate it is being driven in. More specifically, the second generation of the LaCrosse presented additional innovations, such as eAssist hybrid system that, in addition to decreasing fuel consumption, allows for gaining optimal operating temperatures of the A/C Condenser. In addition to its reliability the product is constructed as a durable unit to provide service in daily usage of Buick LaCrosse A/C Condenser. The Buick LaCrosse A/C Condenser is another factor that contributes to the performance, efficiency and safety of LaCrosse models while at the same time providing and attractive exterior look that augments the General Motors vehicle brand as a preferred brand for sumptuous and high performance vehicles.

Buick LaCrosse A/C Condenser Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the A/C Condenser in the HVAC system on Buick LaCrosse?
    A:
As the initial step to replace the hvac system condenser technicians must recover all refrigerant present. The procedure starts with Radiator removal before you cut the a/c line coupling free between condenser tube and evaporator tube. The procedure starts by removing the a/c compressor line nut from the condenser while placing the compressor line safely to the side. Afterward, take the condenser out of the vehicle. Throw away both o-ring seals and seal washer pieces. A new condenser requires installation of refrigerant oil during setup. Fitting the new condenser into the vehicle requires the application of both a new a/c compressor hose seal washer and new o-ring seals to the area between the evaporator and condenser tubes. Install the Radiator first and join the evaporator tube to the condenser tube before connecting the a/c line coupling to both tubes. When attaching the a/c compressor hose to the condenser always use a 20mm wrench or pliers to hold the A/C Condenser block fitting steady while torquing the a/c line nut. Use a 20 mm wrench or pliers to hold the A/C Condenser block fitting until you tighten its nut to 17 n.m (12.5 lb ft). The a/c system evacuation and recharging process concludes with a leak inspection of fittings through the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
