  Q: How to service and repair the brake caliper bracket on Buick LeSabre?

  A: While servicing and repairing the brake caliper bracket, there is the need of removing the caliper anchor bracket. Mount the anchor bracket in a vise, remove those Pin bolt boots from the Caliper anchor bracket. Check and pull the bushings out of the anchor bracket mounting bores by bending them inward with a screwdriver or punch and pulling them out with needle nose pliers. Clean all components, using clean denatured alcohol, and dry your mechanism, vaporing it using unlubricated compressed air. Check the rear brake caliper anchor earning for cracks. If any, replace the bracket. Install new bushings into bracket mounting bores and lubricate them followed by install new pin bolt boots onto anchor bracket and lubricate them. Finally, reinstall the anchor bracket to the vehicle.
