Move fuel feed pipe and harness connections aside before you install the j 45722 (Fuel Sender Lock Ring Wrench) onto the lock ring while ensuring no harm occurs. Handle the fuel sender assembly with caution since mishandling can damage both pipes. Proceed with caution when removing the assembly because the reservoir bucket contains fuel and handle the old o-ring seal along with the fuel according to disposal requirements. The j 45722 equipped with a long breaker bar should be used to rotate the fuel sender lock ring counterclockwise using the j 45722 until it unlocks for removal along with the fuel sender assembly.
