How to replace the Fuel Pressure Sensor (RPO NT7) on Buick Lucerne?

The replacement process of the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (RPO NT7) starts with removing the rear compartment liner first. As the first step you must remove the bolts which secure the fuel sender access hole cover then remove the cover itself. The operations start with disconnecting the fuel level sensor wiring harness electrical connector from the fuel tank pressure sensor to remove the sensor. Start by mounting the new fuel tank pressure sensor and joining the fuel level sensor wiring harness electrical connector to it during installation. Set the fuel sender access hole cover into its position before placing cover bolts that need to be tightened to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Install the rear compartment liner as the last step.
