2009 Buick Lucerne Fuel Pressure Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the Fuel Pressure Sensor (NT7, NU5) on 2009 Buick Lucerne?
A: The first step to replace Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (NT7, NU5) requires removal of the rear compartment liner. First remove the cover bolts from the fuel sender access hole before taking out its cover. Once you disconnect the fuel level sensor wiring harness electrical connector from the fuel tank pressure sensor the sensor with its seal assembly will become removable. The new fuel tank pressure sensor installation requires you to position both the sensor assembly along with its seal then connect the fuel level sensor wiring harness electrical connector to the device before securing the fuel sender access hole cover. Fasten the fuel sender access hole cover bolts with 2 Nm (18 lb in) torque. Finish the procedure by reinstalling the rear compartment liner.
