Firstly, after removing the ip compartment and the right sound insulator, it's possible to replace the air inlet actuator. Then, disconnect the
Body Control Module and the hvac programmer from brackets and remove them from their brackets and bear them aside. Pull low electrical connectors off the i/p relay and junction block, unscrew bolts and nuts, rotate the relay block, then pull off the upper electrical connectors. After that, remove i/p fuse and relay junction block and remove air inlet actuator electrical connector. The air inlet actuator retaining screws should be also removed and the air inlet actuator itself. For installation, first loosen the retaining screws to the separating position as the new air inlet actuator is installed, then tighten it to 1.4 n.m (12 lb in). Retreat the electrical connector from the air inlet actuator, and attach the upper electrical connectors of the i/p fuse as well as relay block. Position the relay block and tighten it with bolts and nut at a torque of 8 n.m (80 lb in). Reconnect the lower relay block electrical connectors, re-install the Body Control Module and the hvac programmer to hang in their holders, install the right sound insulator again, and lastly, the ip compartment back.
