How to replace the A/C Compressor Cut-Out Switches on Buick Rainier?

To change the air conditioning (A/C) low pressure switch, first, the halogen leak detector (J39400-A) is used to leak test the fittings of the components after making the installation. Start with disconnecting the a/c low pressure switch electrical connector, and then remove the a/c low pressure switch from the accumulator. Remove the a/c low pressure switch port o-ring seal from the accumulator and put an o-ring seal at the appropriate place. Then, install ac low pressure switch to the accumulator and secure it with 4.8 n.m (42 lb in). Finally, replace the a/c low pressure switch electrical connector.
