  Begin replacement of the oil level indicator and tube by taking out the A/C line bracket nut followed by separating the A/C line bracket from the oil level indicator tube stud. First the technician should disconnect the oxygen (O2) sensor electrical connector from the oil level indicator bracket before removing the oil level indicator tube stud. Extract both the indicator followed by the tube from the engine block. Start by putting the oil level indicator tube inside the engine block before applying sealant to the threads of the oil level indicator tube stud. Fasten the oil level indicator tube stud by torqueing it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Attach the A/C line bracket around the oil level indicator tube by tightening its nut to 7 N.m (6 lb in). Reinstall the O2 sensor electrical connector before placing the oil level indicator properly into the tube.
