When removing the nuts from the Hood Latch you must avoid crimping the Hood Latch release cable. The Hood Latch release cable requires removing from the Hood Latch through hood release cable retainer squeezing before extracting the Hood Latch from the Hood Latch support bracket. Installation requires the user to attach the hood release cable to the Hood Latch before placing the Hood Latch onto specified marks on the Hood Latch support bracket. Put the Hood Latch nuts into place before you tighten them to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Exactly adjust the hood position and proceed to shut the hood when needed.
