  A: Before you start replace the Brake Caliper Bracket you must raise the vehicle and place secure supports under it. Then remove the tire and wheel. Take out the brake caliper and throw away the front Brake Caliper Bracket bolts to start working. Disconnect the front Brake Caliper Bracket from its position on the Steering Knuckle. Use a cleaning method to prepare the Brake Caliper Bracket fitting areas and run threads through the Steering Knuckle to clean out remaining locking compound. Slip the caliper bracket onto the Steering Knuckle then apply 272 threadlocker product 12345493 (GM P/N) or similar to the caliper bracket bolts. Place the new caliper bracket bolts in position then turn them to 95 nm (70 ft. Lbs.) on the first phase and another 37 degrees on the second phase. Place the brake caliper back on and add the tire and wheel combination afterward before lowering the vehicle. Finally top up the master cylinder.
