After that remove the brake caliper and dispose of the front Brake Caliper Bracket bolts. To start the job disconnect the caliper bracket from the Steering Knuckle. Clean both surfaces of the caliper bracket before fitting it to the Steering Knuckle and clean the threads completely to remove trapped locking compound. Fit the caliper bracket onto the Steering Knuckle then apply 272 threadlocker to new caliper bracket bolts according to gm p/n 12345493 standards or similar product. Attach the new caliper bracket bolts but tighten them first to 70 ft. Lbs. (95 Nm) then continue turning another 37 degrees. Install the brake caliper and tire wheel assembly in the vehicle and lower the vehicle after filling master cylinder reservoir.
