  A: Rewiring of the sir side impact system becomes necessary before substituting the Door Lock Cylinder. The first step involves removing the front door trim panel together with the front door water deflector. To begin the front door outside handle and its lock rod need to be removed. Begin the Door Lock Cylinder replacement by taking out the c-clip along with the cam lever, spring from the lock barrel and thrust spring and clear plastic cap and Door Lock Cylinder roll pin.
