Begin the service of the rear door Window Regulator by putting on approved safety glasses together with gloves as safety measures. Secure the open window at its halfway point with tape for protection. The service requires you to remove the door trim panel together with the water deflector along with the inner belt sealing strip, outer belt sealing strip, door window Weather Strip and the door vent window followed by the division channel. The next step requires you to remove the inside Door Handle before cutting ties to the door window electrical connection. Cutting the rivets holding the door Window Regulator and motor allows you to disconnect the guide from the regulator and motor while they are detached from the sash. Pull the door Window Regulator and motor out from the door opening. Installation requires the door Window Regulator and motor to pass through the door opening with the guide positioned at the center to properly align the sash on the glass. Install four new rivets to the door window assembly after attaching the guide to ensure the safe operation of the regulator and motor. Once the connection of door Window Regulator and motor electrical connector is complete you should reinstall all components starting with inside Door Handle followed by door vent window division channel and door window Weather Strip and outer belt sealing strip and inner belt sealing strip and water deflector and door trim panel. The last step involves pulling off the adhesive tape from the window.
