How to replace the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose and Check Valve on LHD on Cadillac CTS?

The Brake Pedal must be engaged multiple times to empty the vacuum reserve of the Brake Booster for lhd car models. You must first remove both the intake manifold insulator and the fuel injector sight shield. Pick out the check valve from the vacuum Brake Booster before disposing the vacuum hose clamp. Disconnect the vacuum hose from its port on the lh side of the intake manifold before releasing the vacuum Brake Booster hose quick connect from the power Brake Booster auxiliary pump. The person conducting installation should remove any check valves from the vacuum Brake Booster hose. The vacuum Brake Booster hose quick connect should be connected to the power Brake Booster auxiliary pump while you add a new hose clamp onto the vacuum Brake Booster hose for installation. Use a suitable tool to compress the clamp while attaching the vacuum hose to the vacuum port located on the lh side of the intake manifold. The vacuum Brake Booster hose must have its check valve reinstalling if the check valve was eliminated. A light amount of denatured alcohol can serve as a lubricant to help assemble components yet using soap on these parts should be prevented. Install the check valve to the vacuum Brake Booster before reattaching the fuel injector sight shield and intake manifold insulator.
