How to Replace a Brake Light Switch on Cadillac CTS?

Begin replacement of the stop lamp switch by taking off the left or right side insulator panel. Press the retaining clip on the switch while disconnecting electrical connectors from the stop lamp/abs/shift lock switch. Pull the switch outward to take out the stop lamp/abs/shift lock component. Insert the stop lamp/abs/shift lock switch into the Brake Pedal assembly by keeping the Brake Pedal completely downward. Enter the switch fully into its seat and lift the Brake Pedal steadily until it moves to its highest position. Place the electrical connections onto the stop lamp switch and put back the left or right cover panel.
