How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Cadillac Escalade EXT?

Start your crankshaft position (CKP) sensor replacement by taking out the Starter followed by removing the ckp sensor electrical connector. Wipe down the environment surrounding the ckp sensor before removing its bolt and sensor. Reposition the ckp sensor in its original place then install the ckp sensor bolt using a torque of 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Finish the Starter installation after reattaching the ckp sensor electrical connector. A ckp system variation learn procedure must be completed after removing or replacing the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
