To replace the left air temp actuator, first remove the right in sound insulation, then park brake pedal assembly. Pull off the electrical connector that serves as the connection between the driver air mix actuator and the actuator itself plus remove. Start by installing the driver air mix actuator, making sure that you move in a manner that follows the Fastener Notice in service precautions. Tighten the driver air mix retaining fasteners to the quantity of 1.4 N.m (12 lb in). Next is to reconnect the electrical connector to the driver air mix actuator, to reinstall the park brake pedal assembly, then to reinstall the right sound insulator. Lastly, recalibrate the actuators as per the BCM Programming/RPO Configuration (DIM), BCM Programming/RPO Configuration (IPM), and BCM Programming/RPO Configuration (RIM) from the Body Controls System.
