The technician should begin by removing the secondary camshaft drive chains before progressing to disconnect the primary drive chain tensioner. Unfasten the camshaft intermediate sprocket holding bolt before you separate it from the primary camshaft drive chain and crankshaft sprocket and camshaft intermediate sprocket unit. Install the main components by placing the camshaft intermediate and crankshaft sprocket timing marks in vertical position then put the primary camshaft drive chain on the drive sprockets while keeping the number 1 piston at top dead center (TDC) at 1 o'clock position.
