Service the left valve parts by removing the
Camshafts from the engine while raising the automobile. Detach first the brace linking the engine
Oil Pan to the transaxle case and then disconnect the torque converter component. Fit in the flywheel holder model j44214 and bring down the vehicle. When you serve the valves start by cleaning the Spark Plug well to avoid damaging it during removal. After taking out the Spark Plug from the working cylinder install the base plate of the valve spring compressor (J44211) onto the Spark Plug hole. Fix the Spark Plug port adapter (J39313) into the Spark Plug space and keep the valve clamped with steady air to control leakage. Set up the valve spring compressor j44211 by inserting its arm and swivel nut over the chosen valve stud then tighten the swivel nut only until you can work with the valve locks. Use a magnet tool to access the valve locks while loosening the swivel nut before swinging the arm to take out the valve parts. Static the 7mm piston valve stem seal installer (J38820) to hold and extract the worn valve stem seal before disposing it. Apply engine oil to the valve stem and inside of the new seal before putting on the seal protector. Install the new valve stem seal with valve stem seal remover and installer tool j38820. After installing the valve spring retainer and spring lower the arm over the retainer and tighten the swivel nut until you can work with the valve locks. Use the on-vehicle valve retainer remover/installer (J43059) to position valve locks when following the process for multiple valve services with the valve spring compressor (J44211). Lower air pressure and then remove Spark Plug port adapter j39313 from the Spark Plug hole and base plate of valve spring compressor j44211. Insert the new Spark Plug after you put it in all cylinder spaces. After installing the left camshafts you should raise the vehicle and take out the flywheel holder before fitting the torque converter cover and bolting the Oil Pan to transaxle brace at a torque of 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Lower the vehicle for completion.
