The center exhaust hanger requires removal of its bolt connection to the rear suspension support bracket. A topical lubricant applied to the exhaust pipe hanger rod will help unhinge the metal component after which you can extract the center exhaust hanger away from this rod by pulling it towards you. The removal process begins with disconnected the rear exhaust hanger nut from the rear exhaust hanger bracket and insert lubricant on the tail pipe hanger rod before pulling the rear exhaust hanger from the rod. To install the tail pipe hanger rod users must first apply soapy solution to both the rod and the inner diameter of the rear exhaust hanger before pressing the hanger over the rod and positioning it onto the rear exhaust hanger bracket. Mount the rear exhaust hanger nut to the rear exhaust hanger bracket taking care to reach 30 Nm torque (22 ft. lbs. torque). The procedure includes applying soapy solution to both the exhaust pipe hanger rod and the center exhaust hanger inner diameter before placing the center exhaust hanger over the hanger rod followed by bolt installation to the rear suspension support bracket with a torque of 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
