Decide which adjuster motor requires replacement between the front vertical motor, rear vertical motor and horizontal motor. The seat adjuster drive cables must be unhooked from the motor where the electrical connector requires disconnection. To replace the factory motor inserts, lay the seat on its back on a dry and clean surface then drill the factory motor insert out from the seat motor plate bottom using a 3/16 in drill bit. Relocating the new seat adjuster motor (1, 2, 3) onto the motor plate can begin with installing the motor insert into the motor grommet of the new motor before adding the bolt to secure the motor to the motor plate while tightening it to 4N.m (36 lb in). The electrical connector requires reinstallation and next the seat adjuster drive cables go into place followed by attaching the seat cushion and putting the seat back into the vehicle before enabling the SIR system.
