How to replace the Power Steering Hose Inlet on Cadillac XLR?

Raising the vehicle on a hoist should be the first step when replacing the power steering gear inlet pipe/hose. Complete the Power Steering Hose and pressure hose from the Power Steering Pump then from the power steering gear followed by complete removal of the hose from the vehicle. Place the power steering pressure hose back onto the vehicle while sticking strictly to the fastener notice. Connect and tighten the power steering pressure hose fitting at the power steering gear to 27 n.m (20 lb ft). You should now attach the power steering pressure hose to the Power Steering Pump before tightening the fitting to 27 n.m (20 lb ft). The vehicle requires lowering while the technician performs power steering system bleeding.
