Take out the tire pressure sensor nut followed by removing the sensor component. Position the air passage side of the sensor toward the wheel face when you insert it into the valve stem hole of the wheel. Clean the wheel's sensor grommet area from all debris before installation and tighten the sensor nut to keep the body of the sensor parallel with its inner surface at 7 Nm (62 lb in). The tire mounting process requires space between the tire machine or irons, tire beads, and sensor during tire placement back onto the wheel. Start by installing the tire onto the wheel after which follow with tire/wheel assembly placement on the vehicle then slowly lower the vehicle.
