How to service the Air Hose for the Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct on Chevrolet Astro?

Service of the air cleaner fresh air duct/hose requires disconnecting the negative Battery Cable and removing the engine cover first. Start by removing the air cleaner outlet retaining nut before disconnecting the air cleaner outlet duct from the Throttle Body assembly. First disconnect the iat sensor harness connector and after that disconnect the maf sensor from the air cleaner outlet duct by mandating it lose. Install the air cleaner outlet duct onto the maf sensor by clamping it tightly to 4 n-m (35 lb in). Connect the iat sensor harness, before you mount the air cleaner outlet duct onto the Throttle Body assembly by tightening the retaining nut to 2 n-m (18 lb in. Tension). To finish the repair process reinstall the engine cover followed by a connection of the negative Battery Cable.
